Ahsoka's Freak Accident Pt. 3

As Ahsoka was being carried off, she kept fading in and out of consciousness. "How was she able to get past everyone without being seen? Invisibility?" "Nonsense! She most likely used the Vents, although, with as loud as they can be whe-" / "-ould we do with her?" "I still say we 'dispose' of her, but keep the body for study." "I FORBID you from laying a hand on her, Dr. Jonas!" "Eli, sett--" / "Have you lost your minds!?" "She could make a valuable asset to us, David. She did sneak past all of our securities without being detected. Her skills might prove useful!" "You are mad I tell you! Ma-" / "Lay her down here, I'll wait here until she wakes up... Everyone else, get out!"

Ahsoka wakes up panting and scared. "Whoa whoa, settle down." Eli says as she jumps to her feet, getting in a fighting stance. She then looks around, noticing the room is full of medical equipment, she slowly got out of her stance, looking to Eli with question. "Relax, relax. You've caused enough trouble for one day." Eli said in a humorous, sarcastic tone. "What do you mean, 'trouble'?" Ahsoka asked. Eli looked at her with a grin "You've really stirred up hell when you went on your 'Adventure'. Everyone is scared of you, they want to have you killed so they can run all sorts of tests on you. Instead, with your abilities, finesse and professionalism, I've requested that you become a member of our facility, as a Hazardous Environment Unit, ehhh like Gordon. Considering you're willing to take part of this, otherwise.... I'm sure we can try to send you back from where you came. Your decision here."

Ahsoka sat down on the bed, looking at Eli. "Take your time with this decision now, no need to rush it." Eli said confidently. Ahsoka just sat there, thinking. "I can't go back to the Galaxy... I've left the Jedi order.. it was the only life I knew and going back... it would be too painful. Now on this world, there's many new possibilities! With my expertise, they could be exploring their galaxy within mere decades. The only major problem is that most of the humans here act like the ones I've read about on Taris during Revan and Malak's conquest. Too afraid of species not of their own accord. Eli did say he's offered me a special job here at the facility..." Ahsoka then spoke to Eli, "What does the HEU do anyway?" Eli replied "Well, mainly they just handle the crystals and any radioactive areas in or around the base. They do some security work here and there, but nothing too extreme unless needed."

Ahsoka thought it over in her head for 5 minutes before coming to a conclusion "Alright, Eli. You've got a deal." She said. "Excellent. Now all we have to do is wait for the request to be appro-" Eli was cut off by the overhead "Dr. Vance, please report to the Administration office with your 'experiment'." it said. "Well, you heard her, let's head on down." Eli said, walking to the door. Ahsoka followed close behind him as he continued down the hallway. When they finally reached the Administration office he turned to look at her brushing off her clothes, saying "We should have gotten you a cleaner labcoat. Guess it's too late now."  The door opened and the two entered.

Upon entering the room, two women in H.E.V. suits were guarding the head Admin, Dr. Breen as he sat in his chair with a raised eyebrow toward the two approaching him. Other personnel are present in the room, forming a sort of 'court'. Breen spoke once they had reached his desk "So, this is the... 'request' you sent in for, correct Dr. Vance?" "Yes, Sir. Her skills are quite impressive. I personally think she will make a great edition to the H.E.V. unit." Eli replied with confidence. Dr. Breen stood up, slowly approaching Ahsoka, studying her. She stood there, completely still for she knew one wrong move and she'd be hunted down. Breen then backed up to his desk "So, what about you makes you so 'special'?" he asked. Ahsoka looked to Eli, who nodded at her. She used the force to hold Dr. Breen, then with a lift of her arm, he began floating in the air as she said "This is one thing. It's called 'the force'.". "Yes yes... Impressive, now would you be so kind as to let me down?!" He shouted. Ahsoka set him back down in his chair and put her arms at a parade rest position.

"Is there anything else that makes you so special, Ms....?" He asked. "Tano. My name is Ahsoka Tano." She replied. "Yes, Do you have anymore skills you wish to demonstrate for us, Ms. Tano?" Breen asked. Ahsoka looked to the ceiling, then with one jump she had reached its surface and held onto a small piece of lose metal. "Impressive, very nice. Could come in handy when repairs are needed in some of the ventilation systems. Now, I only have time for one more demonstration of your skills." He said. "Try something that might help you get a better job we need filled in... like another researcher, a scientist, an engineer and all that." Eli said to her. Ahsoka hopped down from the ceiling, landing gracefully on her feet, looking around the room. "I have a vast knowledge of technologies from my own galaxy that could severely benefit all of you. However, I cannot demonstrate that knowledge in here at the moment." She said sorrowful. "Hmm, we will think heavily on what we have seen and heard so far, we will send Dr. Cross to let you back in once we have come to a conclusion." Dr. Breen said.

"Well that went better than I thought it would." Eli said warmly. "Well, let's just hope that your faith in me will pay off in the end..." Ahsoka replied. "Don't worry. The last thing either of us want is for you to end up on a surgical table, being picked at piece by piece until there's nothing left of you... some of the people here are so crazed with beating our rivals at Aperture Science that they fail to see a few aspects of their research... they use very Questionable Ethics when experimenting, so unethical that I want to throw up every time I think about them..." Eli said. "Well, regardless of what happens. I'm just glad I had a good friend by my side..." Ahsoka smiled at Eli. Gordon, Kleiner, and Barney are all walking towards the administration office, but they all stop once they see Eli and Ahsoka. "So that's the 'experiment' you all got everyone so worked up about? She looks harmless." Barney said humorously. "While I may not look like I can do much harm to you, trust me, I'm more than meets the eye." Ahsoka replied. "Whoa whoa, easy there. I meant nothing by that. You just look pretty young to me, young ones tend to not be as dangerous as older ones." Barney said. Ahsoka looked at him with a sharp look, then just turned back to Eli. "How come you're all here?" Eli asked.

"We had heard that the administrator wanted to see you two, I figured it might be important, so I gathered Barney and Gordon so we could come see you two." Kleiner said. "Well thanks for that, Izzy. Means a lot to me." Eli said with a smile. "It means a lot to me as well." Ahsoka said shyly. "Well, what did the administrator wan--" Kleiner was interrupted. "Excuse me, Ms. Tano, Dr. Vance. Dr. Breen requests that you two come back in." Said Dr. Cross. "Well, Izzy. I'll let you know how it went once we come back out of there." Eli said as they both walked into the Admin's room, the door shutting behind them. "I do hope the best for them..." Kleiner said. "Oh I'm sure they'll be fine. Eli is one of the top researchers in this facility. I'm sure nothing will happen to him... the alien on the other hand however... well.... guess time will tell." Barney said, looking to Kleiner...
