New reason for inactivity!

I joined the army. Left sooner than I expected too. November 1st. Well, skip time from then to here, I was at Ft. Jackson going through Basic Combat Training. But after all that was over I moved on to Ft. Lee. Currently in Advanced Individual Training, but its like college. So I now have lots of free time to finish up my stories and do more things than I've been able to over the past 12-13 weeks.
Today I'm getting my computer back so I won't be stuck using this Gov. issued one. Then I can really get back into business.

Ahsoka's Freak Accident Pt. 7

"No!" Ahsoka shouted as the portal closed behind her, but to no avail. She was back where she began on that forested outer-rim planet, but to her surprise she noticed her HEV suit was gone, herself a little younger than when she had just left Earth, everything looked the same as it did the day she fell into that portal. "How did It get like this... where did it all go wrong?" She asked herself. "That crystal... that strange man... he had something to do with it!" She spoke loudly, reflecting back on all that had transpired.
"I-it was a standard procedure..." She spoke to herself, her voice fading. Back at Black Mesa just a few days prior Ahsoka would be up in the observation room of the test chamber she had originally come in from, observing a morning experiment that Gordon was performing. She had a bad feeling about that day, but remained quiet. Just before Gordon inserted the crystal, Ahsoka immediately had a vision about the events that were about to transpire. But before she could say a word, the 'Black Mesa Incident' had begun.
"Whoa!"
"Gordon get away from the beam!"
"Oh dear!"
"Someone get him out of there! Shut it down!"
"Its not... its not shutting down!
"NOOOOO--"
That was all Ahsoka heard before jumping out of the way of the lethal beam that obliterated everyone in its path towards the control room. The explosion however had knocked her unconscious for awhile. She would lay there in that room, surrounded by death and blood just minutes before Gordon teleported back into the test chamber.
"She's alive!" Shouted Eli as he looked through the glass of the destroyed door. "W-what happened?" Ahsoka asks, holding her head in pain. "The resonance cascade we feared has come. I can't go into that room right now, I need to look after izzy. You need to get to the surface as quick as you can and call for help. I've tried, but our phones our out for the count. That HEV will protect you, now hurry!" Eli said to Ahsoka, running back to where Dr. Kleiner was. Ahsoka looked over and crawled to the door on the opposite side of the room, leaving the danger zone.
As she walked down the halls, she was terrified at what had become of her former friends, mere carcasses on the floor, pouring blood. It wasn't until she reached the floor above the elevator that she saw another living person. 3 scientists along with a security guard were heading for the elevator, but stopped when they saw Ahsoka, relieved: "Is there anyone else down there?" One asked. "Yes. Eli Vance and Doctor Kleiner are still down there. They sent me to get help." Ahsoka replied. "Alright. We'll go get them out and head back up here, you head for the surface and get someone down here. There are 'things' up ahead, you're better equipped to deal with them than us." The guard said. Ahsoka nodded and headed off.
Ahsoka was in a panicked state, she wanted to get to the surface quickly. Spotting the zombified scientists, she shuddered and force pushed them to the floor, incapacitating them under the false assumption she put them down for good. Gordon would finish them off later. Upon reaching the control desk, Ahsoka noticed the reinforced doors were closing. Her access to the surface was fading. Quickly, she leaped through the thinning gaps, reaching the tram catwalk. A scientist looked over at her, then to the dead guard, then back to Ahsoka: "You must get to the surface quickly before anyone else ends up like him." he said in a sorrowful tone. "I promise I'll be back with help." Ahsoka said, leaping up on-top of the powered off electrical rail of the Tram system, booking it across them to the surface.
As she reached the living quarters complex, Ahsoka went to her barracks and grabbed a Five-Seven pistol she had under her bed. A gift she had gotten from her roommate Samantha 2 days prior. Grabbing the 3 magazines for it that she had gotten with it as well, Ahsoka stuffed 2 of them into her HEV's ammo holder, loading the third mag into the pistol and cocking it to the rear, chambering a round. After this she sets off to find her room-mates, James and Sam. It doesn't take long as soon enough Ahsoka spots them and 10 scientists running towards the barracks, being pursued by a pair of bullsquids. James runs and guns, running while shooting his pistol. Some of the shots connect with the squids, but this only angers them. Ahsoka runs over and leaps into the air, standing between the group and the squids. She quickly force pushes them backwards. Sam and james then use this opportunity to shoot the creatures dead. "Fucking cthulhu dogs, man." Sam says with a deep breath.
